St.Clair Apparel Makes Inc. 5000 Second Year In A Row

Inc. Magazine today ranked St.Clair Apparel #2,985 on its annual ranking of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in the country. The list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America's independent minded entrepreneurs. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.
St.Clair Apparel was founded by Steven and David St.Clair in 1998. However, the brothers have owned custom and import apparel companies for over 25 years. Steven, president and CEO and his brother David, vice president, both have extensive training and experience in marketing at the corporate level. Their experience, as well as their emphasis on producing quality custom apparel and import apparel, has been a major factor in the strong performance and growth of St.Clair Apparel. Not only does St.Clair Apparel import and produce apparel, the company also focuses on their promotional products lines. This is the second year in a row that St.Clair Apparel has been featured in the Inc. 5000. In 2007, St.Clair Apparel was ranked #3,691 in the Inc. 5000.
"Our second annual Inc. 5000 continues the most ambitious project in business journalism." said Inc. 5000 project manager Jim Melloan. "The Inc. 5000 gives an unrivaled portrait of young, under-reported companies across all industries doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth." The 2008 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must be U.S. based and privately held, independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2007, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004 and $2,000,000 in 2007.
